Location

The Faculty of Social Sciences is centrally located within the city of Leuven. The venue is within walking distance from the main city attractions, the train station, and a variety of accommodation options (including the student residences and the lecturer's accommodation).

Layout of the Campus

The lecture halls are located within different buildings on campus. A map of the ESSLLI campus, with the location of the various lecture halls, is presented below.

Most lecture halls are located in the AV building (AV 00.17, AV 02.17, AV 04.17, AV 01.12 and AV 03.12). Note that the former three have a different entrance than the latter two. Lecture halls Emma Vorlat, Ruth Benedict, and Jean Monnet (where the student session takes place) are located in different buildings.

Coffee breaks take place in Alma 2. The location of the registration and helpdesk (located in the entrance hall of the social sciences department) is equally indicated on the map.
